Depending on the student’s capabilities, either of the two might seem easier to them. However, if I were to provide a generalised opinion, I would say that the IB is more difficult in comparison to the A-levels. As the IB not only has examinations contributing to the final grade, they also have coursework. This involves a lot of documentation and research. Apart from the 6 subjects, there are also 3 core components: ToK, CAS and EE. Whereas the A-levels bases your final grade on only the examinations. While the content may be challenging, the IB most definitely has quite a lot of components to tackle.
