What Is IGCSE
The International Standard for Grades 9 & 10

Four things we do that most IGCSE tutors skip
Mark-scheme fluency, not just content coverage
Most students know what the right answer is but don't know how to write it in a way that earns full marks. We teach directly from Cambridge and Edexcel mark schemes, so students understand the exact phrasing, level of detail, and structure that examiners credit at each mark level.
Command word training across every subject
The difference between a 4-mark "explain" answer and a 4-mark "evaluate" answer is completely different, but many students treat them the same. We spend explicit time on command word recognition and the specific response structure each requires, because this is where the majority of lost marks come from.
Paper 6 / Alternative to Practical — often neglected
The Alternative to Practical paper (Sciences) is frequently the component students prepare least for. We work through it systematically, planning experiments, identifying variables, drawing results tables, and writing evaluations in the format Cambridge rewards. Students who prepare for Paper 6 properly gain a significant grade advantage.
