Biography
Barbara is an experienced international science educator
currently teaching IBDP Biology and Environmental Systems and
Societies. She has more than 12 years of teaching experience
across the IB and Italian science systems.
Originally from northern Italy, Barbara moved to Norway to
complete her IB Diploma. She later earned an M.Sc. in Biology
from the University of Padova and a Ph.D. in Ecology from the
University of Parma.
She has worked as an Associate Researcher in River Ecology at
FEM and has been involved in international education throughout
her career. She also became a certified teacher and later took
on the role of course coordinator at her school.
Barbara has written four Biology textbooks published by three
Italian publishing houses. Her extensive teaching experience
allows her to quickly identify student needs and build tailored
learning plans around revision, past papers, flashcards and
examination preparation.
