Originally hailing from northern Italy, I moved to Norway to complete my IB Diploma. I have earned my M.Sc. in Biology at the University of Padova and my Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of Parma. In 2015 I earned my teaching certification and in 2019 took over the role of course coordinator at the school where I am currently teaching.
I have written four Biology textbooks which I have published with three Italian publishing houses.
Experience is the key tool in the hands of educators and my own helps me understand the students’ needs right from the start: whether it is revisions, past papers’ practice or flashcards, I am able to understand the student needs and draft a tailored teaching plan. Twelve years of teaching and tutoring helped me in building up a wide collection of materials that are ready to be used.
I have taught more than 2,000 students and more than 90% of them got 6 or more as a final result for their subject
When not tutoring and teaching, I love to spend time with my son and play golf together. Another passion of mine is volunteering for my town’s pre-school and for the TED organization for which I am translating.
