I hold the position of Head of the Economics Department and am an active participant in the School’s Leadership Development Programme. My commitment to professional development is evident through my attendance at various online teacher training workshops, as well as workshops and webinars organised by CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) and IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme). This engagement allows me to stay abreast of the latest teaching methodologies, techniques, syllabus updates, and assessments, ensuring a high standard of educational leadership.

As an accomplished tutor, one of my core strengths lies in my adept ability to discern and address the challenges students encounter. I employ differentiation techniques tailored to each student’s unique learning style, fostering an environment conducive to both interest and confidence in the subject.

Central to my philosophy is the belief that every student possesses the potential for excellence in Economics, and my role as a tutor is to facilitate the unlocking of that potential. Collaborating closely with students, I establish realistic goals and craft structured study plans aligned with their schedules and learning paces. Recognizing Economics as a dynamic subject, I integrate discussions on current affairs within the constantly evolving global landscape. Outside of my professional commitments, I have a keen interest in activities that contribute to holistic well-being, such as practising yoga and maintaining a fitness regimen at the gym. Additionally, I have a deep passion for exploring new destinations through travel.
