connect classroom concepts with real-world situations.

Students Often Struggle With

Students can find it challenging to move beyond memorisation and
develop the critical thinking, application and evaluation skills
required by IB subjects. Building connections between concepts and
real-world examples can also require structured guidance.

Helping students become curious about the world around them and
seeing them develop confidence as they move from simply learning
information to questioning, analysing and applying what they know.

In His Own Words

Shebaz is an IB ESS & TOK Specialist with more than 6 years
of teaching experience. With a background in Biotechnology, he
brings a scientific perspective to his teaching and focuses on
helping students understand concepts through exploration,
questioning and real-world application.

His one-on-one personalised tutoring approach allows him to
adapt sessions to individual student needs while building
confidence, curiosity and stronger conceptual understanding.

Shebaz’s teaching style is experiential and inquiry-based,
encouraging students to move beyond memorisation and engage
actively with the ideas they are learning.
