I am Theleeban, an experienced and dedicated IB Physics Facilitator for both the Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP), currently serving as an Associate Diploma Programme Coordinator (ADPC) and Extended Essay Coordinator. With seven years of teaching experience, I have a proven track record of fostering a love for physics among students, coupled with the ability to deliver high-quality education tailored to the IB curriculum.

As IBDP Physics teacher, my teaching approach is centred on providing a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for students. I prioritise several key elements in my pedagogical methods to foster a deep understanding of physics, encourage critical thinking, and align with the distinctive International Baccalaureate (IB) style.

I believe in laying a strong foundation by focusing on conceptual clarity. Physics comes alive when students can relate theoretical concepts to real-world phenomena. I integrate practical examples and applications into my lessons, demonstrating the relevance of physics in everyday life.
Encouraging critical thinking is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I design tasks and assignments that challenge students to analyse, synthesise, and evaluate information. Problem-solving is approached as a dynamic process, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge to solve complex and real-world problems Being well-versed in the IB curriculum, I tailor my teaching methods to align seamlessly with the requirements and expectations of the International Baccalaureate programmes. This includes incorporating the IB learner profile attributes, global contexts, and inquiry-based learning methodologies to prepare students effectively for assessments and exams.

I actively incorporate IB-style questions and past papers into my teaching approach to enhance student understanding, refine exam skills, and ensure readiness for the challenges of IB assessments. Following the completion of IB-style questions and past papers, I provide detailed feedback to students, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.

Beyond tutoring, I’m passionate about martial arts and law, embracing the discipline they offer. I find joy in non-professional dancing and love exploring acting. Cricket and football are my go-to sports for physical well-being and teamwork. These diverse interests shape a well-rounded, dynamic aspect of my life. I also indulge in my love for reading and taking nature walks. Yercaud is my favourite place that I visit at least once a year. The tranquillity of village life holds a special place in my heart.
