The IB Diploma is awarded to students who successfully complete all the requirements of the DP, including completing six subject courses, the Theory of Knowledge course, the Extended Essay, and the Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS) requirement. The IB Certificate is awarded to students who complete one or more individual IB courses but do not meet all the requirements for the IB Diploma.
