One of the major flaws of the IB program can be the workload on the students shoulders. Given the wide range and depth each subject covers, even with CAS, the work may seem like too much. In addition with the Internal Assessments, students may forget to have a social life as they lock themselves in their room. However, this also depends on how effective their time management skills are. Another flaw would be reduced flexibility. Even with the variety of subjects IB provides, not all IB schools would be able to provide them therefore restricting a student’s options. Moreover, it also requires in-depth study thus resulting in lesser flexibility.
