From the Educator's Desk
Teaching Philosophy
I believe Physics should be taught through conceptual understanding, real-world applications and structured problem-solving. I use IB-style questions, practical examples and past-paper practice to help students understand concepts while developing strong examination skills.
Students Often Struggle With
Students often find it difficult to connect theoretical Physics concepts with unfamiliar situations. I focus on building conceptual foundations first and then applying them through progressively challenging problems.
Favourite Part of Teaching
I enjoy helping students develop curiosity about Physics and seeing them become confident enough to solve unfamiliar problems independently.

Born and raised in the vibrant tapestry of India. My journey with the International Baccalaureate (IB) began in 2012 when I stepped into the role of a PYP facilitator. Currently, I contribute my expertise as an MYP facilitator and PYP coordinator in a renowned IB school, a role that aligns seamlessly with my passion for the IB philosophy, framework, and inquiry-based conceptual learning.
For the past decade, I’ve also embraced the role of an IB tutor, channeling my enthusiasm for the IB approach into guiding students on their educational paths. The satisfaction I derive from sharing my passion with others is immeasurable.
My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering independent thinking in students of all ages and abilities. I derive joy not only from witnessing their academic achievements but also from relishing the learning journey alongside them.
Throughout my career, I’ve held various positions of responsibility, each contributing to my personal and professional growth. These roles have not only shaped my vision but have also provided continuous opportunities for learning and development.
One of the highlights of my career has been the chance to advocate for the PYP curriculum both within and outside the school community. Collaborating extensively with staff members and parents, I’ve strived to deepen understanding and appreciation for the PYP concept.
In my administrative and curricular leadership roles, I’ve honed my skills in managing people, motivating and inspiring students, and maintaining open, courteous, and professional communication with parents. Each responsibility has broadened my perspective, guiding me toward thinking more comprehensively about education and community engagement.
This journey has been both fulfilling and transformative, and I am eagerly hoping to contribute further to the realm of education.
To enrich student learning and foster academic achievement, I believe in implementing highly effective instructional approaches that prioritize questioning techniques to cultivate global awareness. As an IB teacher, my primary responsibilities revolve around guiding, supporting, and nurturing learning within a positive educational environment.
I advocate for a student-centered, conscientious, and adaptable approach tailored to meet each student’s unique needs. Creating a warm and safe atmosphere is essential for optimal learning experiences.
My lessons are characterized by vibrancy, incorporating enjoyable activities while ensuring their significant and beneficial impact on students. Utilizing diverse teaching methodologies, props, flashcards, and a whiteboard, I strive to achieve desired educational goals. The planning process revolves around crafting content that is not only relevant, engaging, and meaningful but also challenging to stimulate student growth.
Passionate about helping students comprehend and apply content to their lives, my areas of expertise lie in mathematics and the English language. I am dedicated to cultivating an engaging and participatory learning environment because, to me, education should be both joyful and intriguing.
Beyond tutoring, I find solace and passion in my identity as an artist. Creating art isn’t just a hobby; it’s a source of dedication and calmness, an avenue for nurturing curiosity, and a means to stay open to my emotions. It’s a process that encourages me to perceive life differently and serves as a healing balm for my mind, body, and soul.
Art isn’t confined to my personal space; I integrate its thinking into my profession, transforming my tutoring sessions into more than just lessons. This fusion makes my work more interesting, engaging, and deeply meaningful, aligning my artistic expression with my commitment to education.
