IB requires you to take subjects at either a higher or standard level. But, AP provides all its courses only at one level. Although both IB and AP courses prepare students for college through rigorous work, their focuses are different. AP programs aim to provide students with college level courses while they still attend high school. On the contrary, the IB program helps the students understand the process of knowledge and develop critical thinking skills.
