In light of the pandemic, colleges have decided to make the SATs optional. Considering the recent changes, I would say that GPA matters more than the SAT score. However, having an excellent SAT score can add on a great deal to your application. Your application does not come down to just the two aspects; GPA and SAT. You must also focus on your college essays as well as extracurriculars to show that you are well-rounded and balanced.
