For undergraduate admission to University of Pennsylvania, there is no set minimum GPA requirement.

However, admitted students often have very good GPAs, with an average GPA of 3.9 and ranges from 3.7 to 4.0.

SAT Requirements

SAT scores are not required for the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 application seasons, but they are still taken into account for determining admission. SAT scores for accepted students at the University of Pennsylvania range from 1480 to 1570, with an average score of 1525.

Although SAT scores are optional, we advise students to aim for a strong SAT score of at least 1525 to be successful in the University of Pennsylvania admissions process.

ACT Requirements

For the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 application seasons, ACT scores are optional, but they are still taken into account during the admissions process. ACT scores for accepted students at the University of Pennsylvania range from 33 to 35, with an average score of 34.

A strong ACT score will still help you stand out from the crowd and get into the school of your choice. It will enable admissions staff to compare you to the other applicants quickly and fairly.

Recommendation Letters
